How do I spot Manipulation?

Spot manipulation in general

You spot manipulation by:

  1. Looking at a simplified viewpoint.
  2. Looking for words like “the majority”, “in whole”, “we conclude” and other ways to exclude different views or science. It’s a manipulation technique where you use your authority to make people not question what you’re saying and make them not looking up matters themselves.
  3. Look at who is funding and have a political or financial interest.
  4. Look at who is funding individuals.
  5. Look at people when they are trying to tell a lie. Do they make long arguments or tell a long story? Do they answer with short or long sentences? Do they try to undertone their body language? How do they look you in the eye? If you sense or feel something is strange ask more questions about that topic.
  6. Do they say their statements like they were questions? A bit like they are asking people to believe in them.
  7. Look at statements like a person claiming not to be financed directly by someone. This is one of the easiest manipulative tricks to spot because they reveal themselves.
  8. Look at body language. Are there differences in body language and non-verbal cues? Are there any inconsistencies? Any red flags? Are there any different micro expressions?
  9. Look at voice intonation.
  10. The best manipulators are able to make people believe the lie, and when other people then continue to say the lie, these (new) people may even believe the lie. They may not even be aware that their statements are not true and may come from a lie or a manipulated statement. So the biggest lies are those that people believe themselves and spread to other people.
  11. Is it real life or non-real life science? By using a non-real life source it’s much easier to manipulate so pay attention to the details in science.
  12. Pay attention to when there is a conflict of interest also in authority.
  13. Pay attention to the word “fear” being used. it is often used to redicule people and making fun of them while downplaying and ignorisk risks eg.
  14. Look at statistic and graphs. Are we missing any? Do they give a full picture on a topic or are any information missing?  How many years back in time does a graph show, and is it enough to get the full picture?

Identify Manipulation in the world of EMFs

Examples of manipulation in the world of EMFs:

  1. Simplified viewpoint: A simplified viewpoint is the argument that we should only look at heating and no other indicators or no other science. This is a way to turn the blind eye to biological effects. “Claiming EMFs only cause heating is just as untrue as claiming cigarettes are only dangerous when causing heat and you’re on fire.”
  2. The majority: Arguments like “the majority of” will make you look away from other arguments, detailed, and even science stating the opposite. It’s a way to make people not look into the matter themselves. When it comes to making statements like claiming that “the overall” conclusion is that EMFs is non-harmful (which is a false claim) they try to make you not question their statement. Their statement is double manipulative because it’s the industry themselves that conclude this and NOT the majority of independent science.
  3. Too much science is funded by the industry and in most cases they claim that EMFs don’t cause harm.
  4. One of the new tactics is financing individuals instead of directly funding  the “science”. By this , it’s easier to conceal who is behind the funds, and it’s easier to conceal conflict of interests.
  5. -9. It’s easier to conceal body language and to control voice intonation behind a screen. It’s easier to spot a lie when standing in front of the person. So be aware, you may not be able to, or it’s difficult to, detect manipulation through a screen.

 10. Easily being fooled  is very common when it comes to the topic EMF. You have to read science and be very critical about what you read and hear. The most effective manipulation is the one that is not revealed and is being told by more and more people.

11. The industry often used non-real life microwaves in their “science”. Instead of taking a microwave from a wifi router, which has pulsed microwaves (2.4 GHz) they take a microwave oven non-pulsed microwave (2,4 GHz). The difference is enormous because the pulsation cause biological effects. The industry knows this so they try to manipulate science by using non- real life microwaves.

12. Pay attention to authorities and others being funded by the industry. Pay attention to authorities being misused or even misguiding.

13. Pay attention to the word “fear”. It is being used quite often to humiliate people who has discovered that EMFs are harmful.  It is also being used to question, downplay, and a way to ignore science and EMF injuries.

14. Notice statistics and graphs. Are we missing any? Do they give a clear picture on a case? If a graph shows just a few years back in time you may not see the full picture.

Additional examples of manipulation:

15. Pay attention to someone questioning symptoms as not being a case of damage or illness.

16. Pay attention to someone indicating a person being “sensitive”. This may be an attempt to manipulate and indicate the person as being wrong, making up symptoms, or even having psychological issues.

17. Pay attension to words being used like “weak” and “strong” and pay attention to what is being compared and how the words are being used. Usually these words are never being used when comparing EMF s to natural background radiation or nature.

18. Pay attention to arguments of not enough scientific studies or lab tests an humans. There may be reasons for doing rat tests eg. ethical reasons. We also see political reasons for not doing any tests at all. That leads us to the next.

19. Pay attention for arguments against doing scientific studies or even just ignoring doing any studies at all.

20. Some falsely claim that Bluetooth is radiowaves. It may sound less “worring” to call it so and people have used radio waves for decades and may feel familiar with radiowaves. The truth is that Bluetooth is microwaves (2,4 GHz).

Radiowaves and microwaves are RF (radio frequencies). Microwaves are NOT radiowaves.

Critical Thinking

This page differs a bit from the other pages on Microwave Sickness Info because we have only few links.

We don’t conclude on this page but we question the narrative and we hope you’ll learn critical thinking and will become aware of signs of manipulation.

We hope it will become easier for our readers to see through manipulation.

Maybe you’re already aware?

Pay attention to words like "weak". What is being compared? EMFs and ionizing radiation? or EMFs and nature? "Yeah ok, my signal is weak compared to an atomic bomb 😉 "
